Chandran
Chandran loves to spend her free time with her husband and their three daughters. They enjoy spending time outside with one another and being active as a family. They love nature walks and playing various sports. Chandran comes from a large family and has learned to embrace and value the chaos of life. She loves listening to music, either while having a dance party with her family at home or attending live concerts and festivals. She and her family also have two large dogs, Rizzo and Watson. They add to the chaos of her home, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
I strongly believe...
...in the importance of feeling heard and connected and that we cannot get through this crazy journey of life alone. It is my goal in therapy to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to allow clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to understand their true value as a human being. I provide compassion, connection, and humor in order to make clients feel important, valued, and heard.
I aim to utilize a collaborative and person centered approach. I utilize a variety of techniques and approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as solution focused strategies. I have worked with a large variety of diverse populations and have a passion for working with teens and adults. I have a magnitude of experience working with trauma, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attachment concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, as well as issues related to life stages and changes-including grief. I also have extreme passion for working with athletes to address performance anxiety and stress related to external pressures.
