Beyond my work as a counselor, I find joy in creativity and connection. I love ballroom dancing with my husband where movement and music come together in harmony, creative writing and filling my home with the warmth of homemade bread and baked goods made from scratch. These moments—whether dancing in sync to live music, crafting a compelling narrative, or sharing fresh-baked treats with loved ones—remind me of the beauty in life’s simple joys. I believe that healing isn’t just about overcoming struggles but also about finding or rediscovering the things that bring us meaning, laughter, and light.

Janet Schuster, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Traumatologist, and tLMHC, and I'm here to help. I received my master's degree from Divine Mercy University which provided me a Catholic-Christian lens with which to see the dignity and goodness of all human persons. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs. Incorporating the client's faith can be a meaningful aspect of therapy for those wishing to do so, but I do not impose my beliefs on others. I believe anyone can navigate life's challenges and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
